I'm reminded of Simon Cowell pressed the coveted golden buzzer on 16-year-old singer Calysta Bevier last year. She may have shyly stepped onto the stage, but the potential young star completely wowed the audience with her incredible voice and story.

Calysta is from a small town in Ohio and shared an inspiring message about her survival after being diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. She gave a bold performance of Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" and said, "no matter what you've gone through, keep chasing your dreams." As soon as the song ended, the singer got a standing ovation from the crowd.
