Bold Beanies hats made by a cancer survivor... I love to help fellow sufferers

Posted by Emilienne Rebel on

Bold Beanies are thin soft cotton breathable hats with minimal seams that fit snugly but not tightly on the head to keep covered up and warm if you've lost your hair.

Hair loss can be caused by many reasons including hair thinning or baldness from Chemotherapy treatments for all types of cancer to Alopecia Areata. Having experienced hair loss and how it made me feel (cold and self-conscious)

I love being a a small business and having the contact with my end customer that I can customise an order to their wishes or those of a loved one.

Yesterday I sent out an order for a little girl who is a bit of a tom boy, so wouldn't appreciate the usual Liberty floral prints. We suggested a small selection of Maxi girls unisex hats for her to wear during her treatment. Really wearable plain colours of navy, khaki and a aubergine deep pink colour made into a gift rose. I was told she was a big pug lover, so I sourced some pug iron on patches for her to add to any of the hats. I also included a great Liberty Arts Fabric print cotton stretchy hat that wasn't too girly, but totally pretty and flattering.

This order has made me smile a lot. Emilienne.
